Mia Mariu’s Refreshing Foaming Gel Cleanser Review + Giveaway!

These past few months, I have been trying multiple facial cleansers to find the perfect one for my skin type. I have had good and bad luck.I have dry to very dry skin, and my face normally is not acne prone to new products, especially face cleansers. I have had a few cleanser dry my skin out really bad, as if I didn't have dry skin already, and some of them actually broke me out. I have found about 2 out of about 10 that I actually liked. And one of those, is the Mia Mariu's Refreshing Foaming gel Cleanser. 

The first thing you notice about this product is the packaging. In my honest opinion, the dull colors and bland writing didn't catch my eye. It's not something I would probably even notice in a store if I was looking for a face cleanser. Also the bottle looks more like a conditioner bottle then a cleanser. I think if they added a little design or a pop of color it would stand out a lot more.

However, when I used it I was surprised how well I actually liked it. It was very silky in texture, and glided along my skin. I noticed my skin felt much softer after using it. It doesn't have a very distinct smell to it, which I know a lot of people like because fragrances tend to break people out. I don't mind a little fragrance though. (; I love the fact that it's a foaming gel, because I feel like they clean a lot better. You might not want to use too much of the product just because you really have to scrub your face clean, until there's no more product on your face. It can be difficult doing so over a sink when you are trying not to get water everywhere. This product claims to hydrate your skin, which I think it does to an extent, But I do find that my skin felt tight after I dried my face from using it, so I have to put moisturizer on afterwards. It doesn't actually dry my skin just tightens it. But it's not a big deal to me, personally, since I always put moisturizer on anyways, due to the fact that I have very dry skin. 

Mainly, I feel like this product does soften and refresh my skin, as it is supposed to do and it cleans really well. Overall I rate this product an 8. I wouldn't give it a 10, just because of the poor packaging, no fragrance, and doesn't hydrate as well as I thought it would. I would recommend this product because, for the most part, it does do everything it claims to do. It feels great on and after you use it.
