In Too Deep (Due South Book #1) Review!

For those of you who don't know me, one of my favorite hobbies is to read. I love reading all kinds of books from fantasy, drama, romance, to horror. I like to look at reading as sort of an art. As you read the words you're creating a mental picture of what's happening. But the picture is made from your own crazy thought up ideas. Of course you are getting those ideas from the article but you're taking those ideas, and making them a reality in your own mind. To me, that's art. I like reading to keep me busy, or pass time. I like to read just because it's fun. Some may disagree but really, it's like watching a movie.

Anyways, I recently read a book called 'In Too Deep' (Due South Book 1) Written by the very talented, Tracey Alvarez. I just want to say that I finished this book in about 2 weeks. And this book has 300 something pages, so it's a pretty big book. That's when you know a book is good, when you finish reading it within a week or two. It has the romance aspect, as well as a little suspense. Which is a great combination for a story, may I add..

Basically, Piper Harland, who is a cop, and part of New Zealands Police National Dive Squad, has decided to go back to her home town in order to help her brother from a financial ruin. She knows going back to her hometown she will have to face a man who was once her best friend and her first love, which was the reason she didn't want to come back to her old roots. Ryan Westlake, otherwise know as "West" decided to let her go, 9 years prior to their fling, so she could fulfill her dreams of becoming a cop. But now that she's back in town, his temptations to be with her is too strong.

I love romance novels like this, because it's teasing, as you just want the characters to be together so bad. It makes you want to keep reading to see what happens next. But of course, like every story, it has it's plot twists. I'm not going to spoil everything that happens, so you'll have to find out for yourself. (; But it really is a pleasure filled romance novel. And a great book at that. I think everyone should read this book, especially if you're a sucker for romance!
